This has nothing to do with above comment .... just ranting ... not too many places on I-net to do so ... recent observation about obama's open mic comment to russian guy.
Went to huffington post to get the far left view on this ..... #1, you could barely find the headline #2 , most comments gave obama a free pass as usual .... If a conservative got caught saying this ..... all hell would break out. Thats the diff. between rational thinking people and the far left fringe ... I would call out any politician saying that crap ... but no .. the left wing mental case group says its ok .... I have split my vote many, many, times in the past ... but no longer can I ever vote for the national socialist party ........ no sorry, I meant democrat party ..

This used to be such an active blog. What happened? We have a few new people for sure, but what happened to the regulars who used to inhabit this place? Do things change that quickly? Surely, they are still out there. Our country is being destroyed on a daily basis by forces led by a Chicago Street Organizer who wasn't even born here. Let me pose a question to you. Do you think this problem will be solved at the ballot box, or do you think further action will be required?

investing in new technology is not the problem. New technology has always moved this country forward. The problem lies in whose money is being invested. Whenever Private Industry invests in America's future, they are taking their chances. If they come up with a product or a new technology that works, they win.
The country wins too. The companies who invested their own money in a new idea, will enjoy the profits of that idea as it makes it way to the marketplace and enjoys success. The general populace will enjoy the benefits too, in the way that this new technology improves people's lives in general. Compare the scenario I just gave you to Government intervention in new technology. Our beloved National Government invests your money. My money. In Industries in which they have only minimal understanding. But it feels good. To a Liberal, if it feels good, then we need to fund it. Really? What if it doesn't work? Who is on the hook for the money that was invested in this project? I am sure you see where this is going. Private industry takes a good long look at the money they put into a new venture. For two very basic reasons. They stand to make a lot of money. On the other hand, they stand to lose a lot of money. Welcome to the Free Enterprise System. Your Government has no understanding whatsoever, of the concept of losing money on something that doesn't work. Stupid ass program doesn't work? No problem. The taxpayers, that's you and me, will pay for it. Let's just move on to the next Stupid ass program. If that doesn't work, they'll pay for that too. They're taxpayers. That's what they do. We're the people who get to spend the money. What's the problem?
